What this checklist covers

The list has 4 groups and 15 items.

  • Shelter and sleep (3 items): Tent with stakes and poles; Sleeping bag (temp-rated); Sleeping pad or air mattress
  • Cooking and water (5 items): Camp stove and fuel; Cookware and utensils; Cooler with ice; Water bottles/hydration; Fire starter/matches
  • Light and safety (3 items): Headlamp/flashlight; First aid kit; Multi-tool or knife
  • Comfort and cleanup (4 items): Camp chairs; Bug spray and sunscreen; Trash bags (pack out); Weather-appropriate clothing

Tip: Pack the night before and tick each item as it goes in the car. Ticks are saved on this device.
