What this tool does
The Plant Spacing Calculator tells you exactly how many plants fit in a given garden bed, border, or planting area — using either a traditional square grid or a denser triangular (staggered) pattern.

How it calculates
**Square grid spacing:** Plants are arranged in a regular grid where each row and column is separated by the same distance.
